Law enforcement personnel can:
- Configure ZixMail secure e-mail or pager notification of selected activity. The severity of trigger events is user-configurable, depending on the requirements of the sting operation.
- Search and cross-reference an entire data warehouse of attack information in order to build and compare criminal profiles.
- Leave selected Internet Information Server (IIS) exploits open.
- Log all Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) traffic.
- Packet-write all events during an attack to CD-RW.
- Monitor Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connections.
- Store "marked" credit card accounts and product pricing data in standard .mdb files.
After each attack attempt, the system reboots from the FAT32 hard drive (backup image) while a new image file is created on the NTFS file system and data integrity validation is performed on a continual basis. This ensures that the operating system and database remain intact after each and every attack.
